I don’t even know where to begin. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by warm lighting and an inviting staff that sets the stage for an unforgettable evening. We were escorted to a cozy waiting area where we mingled with other guests, all eagerly anticipating what turned out to be a mind-blowing culinary experience. While we waited for our seating, I was handed a glass of champagne and presented with a beautifully curated cocktail menu — each drink showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and thoughtfully chosen ingredients. I knew right then that this dinner was going to be special, and my taste buds were ready. Our waitress soon guided us to a private dining room — warm, intimate, and tastefully decorated to reflect the chef’s inspirations. Each detail felt intentional, building excitement for what was to come. I won’t spoil the incredible journey that awaits you, but trust me when I say this was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — as if we were witnessing a “Top Chef” challenge where no one could possibly be eliminated. Chef Ward and his team have truly elevated Atlanta fine dining. Each ingredient was thoughtfully chosen and expertly prepared, with techniques that elevated the flavors to absolute perfection. I highly recommend opting for the wine pairing — it’s just as meticulously crafted as the courses themselves. Every sip and every bite worked in perfect harmony, making this experience an unforgettable 100/10.

Such a delicious & fun experience. The service was outstanding, the wine pairings were above and beyond (and unique), and the food & creativity was incredible. From the second you enter the building until the time you leave, the Georgia Boy team is welcoming and informative. One of the best meals I’ve had and certainly will remain one of the most memorable. As a former Atlantan, I loved all of the references to the city and GA.

Everything about this experience was so over the top. Without a doubt I had the greatest thing I have ever eaten at this restaurant The creativity, the layered flavors and one of the most extraordinary wine pairings I've ever had. I will come back to this review and be more thorough shortly...

5/5 in all categories. We’ve had many of the city’s best tasting menus and this was up there with all of them. Won’t spoil the fun, but the meal begins in an unusual little space and takes a surprising turn after a few of the early nibblers. Especially loved chef’s take on a veggie birria taco. One thing to note - you’ll be dining in a group of up to eight people, so if you’re not wanting to be social and share in the experience with your fellow guests, this might not be for you. That said, we had a blast with the three other groups we dined with (who were all strangers before that night) and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. As you’ve likely seen in the reviews already, the Varsity ice cream hot dog was a standout. Idk how chef gets that salty hot dog goodness into an ice cream dish with that perfectly baked brioche bun, but it was as delightful as its presentation. Chef’s take on cereal included fresh lobster (what the heck, right?!) and I gotta say, you wouldn’t expect that combo to work, but it does. Too many good bites to name them all, but I’ll lastly shout out the pastrami style venison which might have been my favorite taste of the night. Lastly, the service. Sheri (our server) led the way and was lovely throughout the night, as was the sommelier, Elliott, who told us it was his eighth week on the job (but you would have thought he said eight years). The pairings were perfect and Elliott kept the pours coming regularly. Obviously an experience like this will cost a pretty penny, but if you want to eat, drink, and live like royalty for a night, the staff at Georgia Boy will make it happen.

Such a fun experience! And it is definitely an EXPERIENCE. My husband and I went and we ended up dining with three other couples. It was such a amazing 3-hour experience with fun interesting people. AKA we all like to eat. I really enjoyed the wine pairing! It was excellent. But they also had an amazing alcohol-free pairing. And plenty of other options too... there is no pressure or pretense. I could go on and on. Make a night of it! We live in Athens, so we got a hotel in the area so that we didn't have to drive back and could fully enjoy the experience. It was just so flippin' delicious, creative, and surprising!

5 stars isn’t even enough. I experienced the 14-Course Meal and it took my breath away!! From the curated meals, to the story telling, to the TASTE of the dishes.. this was curated for food lovers like me. My favorite dish was the Venison, it was my first time trying it and I fell in LOVE with the dish. My second favorite was the chef’s take on the Varsity restaurant.. it was a hot dog (but ice cream) with caviar on the top. Just AMAZING!!! I mean this experience was a 1,000/10!!!

Really enjoyed this unique experience with another couple friends of ours. Started out in the small back library with a few courses and wine pairings. The tour of Buford highway was a fun Asian/Mexican course. They moved us to the kitchen through a secret door, which was a cool surprise. The next stage of the meal was also excellent as we had every dish explained in detail. The tour of Georgia beef was my favorite. They had a unique cereal and milk dish with poached lobster and banana. Somewhat sweet for me, but interesting to try. The desserts were excellent as well. If you enjoy fine dining tasting menu experiences, Georgia boy should definitely be on your list of places to try. Excellent staff and service throughout the meal. Perfectly paced. I'd highly recommend this to anyone

What a wonderful and unique experience. I went with a friend, they had the regular menu & wine pairing, I had the vegan menu and non-alcoholic pairing. So much imagination and care were put towards each bite. It is hard to find vegan food that is also good and even harder to find it in a fine dining setting. The menu and experience were crafted with unqiue Atlanta flair and local knowledge in mind. The night was full of fun surprises, but I won't spoil any here so you can experience them in the moment! The menu was absolutely fabulous, and I plan on taking my Mum here when she visits. I appreciate how much artistry and experimentation went into both the food and NA pairings. I haven't had cotton candy in a while, but I've been craving their truffle version since we left. Service staff were so friendly and added to the overall presentation of this experience. There's free parking out front, and plenty of paid parking around the back. 100/10 will go back.
